So you might assume that the part wrapped around the waist is apart of the piece, but that's not the case. It's a separate piece of cloth that will tie in the back. Also I must add, when I first opened the package I was surprised at how soft and comfortable the material was. I would totally give this 5 stars if the back had the same white undershirt-thing that the front did and the section of white before the skirts connects is sightly longer so you can adjust where the belt goes. The thing is, if you have a slight interest in wanting this dress for an upcoming event: ORDER IT ASAP! I picked this dress for my graduation 2 weeks before the date, but sadly it came 1 1/2 weeks after the event.
