I installed this today in the kitchen. Replace a flush mount fluorescent light which was too bright for the kitchen. Install was pretty straight forward, I installed it by myself with no help. Only tricky part is to loom the wiring inside the housing then line up the screws to the mount holes then its easy peazy.

I did put in the LED Edison bulbs with "300 lumens" to me visually is looks nice, for functionality not enough light, might visit Home Depot tomorrow to get the LED soft white regular bulbs at 470 lumens. I did not install a dimmer as the Edison bulbs are already dim as it is. It is more of a "yellow" than the "soft white" I am used to with a compact CFL bulb.
