Is ok. I wouldn't trust it as a night light (it is NOT meant to be a night light, but I purchase it with that intention) but as a room decor, it works well. If you do not want the lights to flash, just change the bulbs and that should do it.

I bought this traffic light for my son's car theme room. What I didn't realize, is that not only was it a constant flashing light, but also very distracting. It is definitely not safe for anyone with epilepsy. Constant flashing light can trigger a seizure.Photosensitive epilepsy (PSE) is a form of epilepsy in which seizures are triggered by visual stimuli that form patterns in time or space, such as flashing lights, bold, regular patterns, or regular moving patterns. SO, we decided to open it up and to make it a still light(no constant flashing) my husband took it apart, couldn't figure it out.Turns out all he had to do was change the light bulbs .So yah! we love it now and use it as a night light lol.

I did a display of African American inventors. Garrett Morgan invented the traffic light, so I used the traffic light in my display with a biography of him.
