We bought this to replace an ugly old sconce over our son's bed. Great for reading and focusing light downward. You can adjust up and down but not side-to-side. Great quality, made well. Great looking. Great brushed bronze color. Solid sturdy metal. I would definitely purchase again if needed. My husband put it up in minutes with no trouble at all. Arrived as expected quickly. Takes a good standard light bulb.

Very nice looking fixtures. Purchased for mounting over kitchen sink. For the $ these are incredible. The arm isn't very long so might not work as well as a bedside lamp, but it is perfect as a scone in my applications.
