At first out of box looked cheap! BUT! They are heavy made well. Substantial. Appeared on Amazon looked like plastic. Its heavy better looking than I expected. Great value Great buy! Would purchase again. I have two door on back porch bought two for back also. Would recommend.

I absolutely love the look of this light. Bought it for our pole barn wanted what I call horror movie look haha and it looks amazing. No complaints at all.

 We purchased six of these Lithonia industrial style lights from Amazon for our new outdoor porch project. We couldn't be happier with the results and final look of our new outdoor social space. Although we have additional lighting in place, these fixtures really steal the show. They are perfect for outdoor / wet locations without the worry of damaging rainfall. The RGB+W lights that we've chosen for our fixtures are controlled by remote. The glass does not interfere with the effectiveness of the remote control signal reaching the light bulb. Also, the metal cage that comes with the fixture can be used or not used. It's a twisting motion to put it on and then it is held in place with two set screws. We love the look of this fixture without the use of the cage. We've supplied a few pictures from our outdoor patio to give you an idea of the versatility of these wall mount fixtures.

I'm using these fixtures as my standard exterior lights at 4 house entrances including the front/main door. I painted mine red to sync with my doors and exterior accent color. They paint up nicely and I think they look great. I'm knocking off a star because a few of the screw hole threads were wonky, but I made it work. I agree with another reviewer: take the time to run the glass through the dishwasher before you install because they come with some kind of film on them. After the wash they come out clear as a bell.
